ACE Ocean (Automated Commercial Environment) is the name of the CBP platform to process ACE Ocean submission from ocean carriers, freight forwarders, port authorities and terminal operators.

Ocean Carriers must submit Cargo data at the master level. Freight Forwarders have the option to directly submit the HBL data to CBP or HBL data can be submitted by the ocean carrier usually at a fee.

Secondary Notify parties can also use the ACE Ocean eManifest to receive updates on B/L's they have been nominated to receive updates for.

ISF(Importer Security Filing) data also known as "10+2" can also incorporated into the ACE Ocean eManifest submission as part of a unified filing.
