What are the implications to ‘timing’ with the Deconsolidation Notice versus paper remanifests?

There is a difference in 'timing' on eHBL. Remember, the Deconsolidation Notice is triggered when the warehouse 'arrives' the shipment. So, when the railroad or terminal 'arrives' the container the Customs status flows. However, in the paper environment, the Customs status was updated when the terminal received the 'validated' paper re-manifests, often several days before the container was physically in the terminal. This allowed time to book a reservation and arrange pick-up. With the Deconsolidation Notice being triggered on 'warehouse arrival' the Customs status is only known when the goods are physically arrived. Please think through how and when you will make gate reservations or dispatch drivers based on this new timing requirement.
