Our client has a Branch in Hong Kong. This Branch has already registered the Canadian Freight Forwarder bond, but our client still has not registered one yet. Kindly confirm if our client can use Branch's Canadian Freight Forwarder bond for filing their eHBL or S10?

Our client has a Branch in Hong Kong. This Branch has already registered the Canadian Freight Forwarder bond, but our client still has not registered one yet. Kindly confirm if our client can use Branch's Canadian Freight Forwarder bond for filing their eHBL or S10?

The client is suppose to have and use their own FF code. But if the client and branch has an understanding and the branch is ready to take any liabilities from the Customs e.g., late filing etc., then it can be done.

But it is recommended for client to handle its own.
