How do I update Trailer (Equipment) details on my ACE manifest?

Below are the steps to successfully change the required Equipment or Trailer.
 
STEP 1: Click 'Edit' to update individual details on the equipment. (e.g. license plate, addition of IIT, etc.). Make the necessary changes, click "Update this Equipment" and go to Section 7 - Complete Trip, Click "Save".




STEP 2: To remove the equipment and add a new one, select the Trash icon to delete, add the new equipment details by clicking "Add Equipment" and add the trailer as usual. Then hit the Save button. 


 
STEP 3: Once done, update the Message Function to Modify and hit Save. Then click the 'Submit manifest' for an empty trip. 


If the Trip contains shipment/s, resubmit the manifest as "Modify" from the Add Shipments tab
